LIST of the PRIVATES KILLED -- The following is a list of the privates in the cavalry killed at the late battle with Indians near Salt Lake:

Company A -- Jas. W. BALDWIN, Geo. GORMAN
Company H -- Charles HALLOWELL, John K. BRIGGS
Company K -- Christian SMITH, Bugler; Shelbourn C. REED, Adolphus ROWE, Lewis ANDERSON, Henry U. TREMPF
Company M -- George C. COX, Geo. W. HOTON, Asa F. HOWARD, William DAVIS
The following were killed in the 3rd Infantry:
Company C -- John E. BAKER, Samuel J. THOMAS
