There are several numbers associated with David C. Cox meaning there are several children whose lines have been used to membership. There is a note that future applicants must prove correct service meaning the previous applications have been determined inadequate proof. There is a substitute ancestor, Elijah Gillenwater whose service has been proved. If you will email your wife's descendancy to me I will check to see if there is a child of David's whose line is on record.
