Hi 6th or7th cousin Elizabeth,
I don't have any data on Robert's wife and kids as you do.His Father was Nathaniel Cousart(b.1745)and his mother @1812 in Lancaster,S.C.According to the Census record Nathaniel and Jane had @ 15 kids.Only 5 or 6 are known, one dau.was named Phoebe Cousart and she md.a Mr.Nelson.I have her data.I might be descended from Nathaniel too.
Nathaniel was the son of Martha(Barkley)and Richard Cousart of Augusta Co.Va.and lin Anson Co.N.C.which is later Lancaster,S.C.
Will give you data and a few websites to "go visit. And One has a map of Lancaster in @1840..Nathabiel;s propery is nOW the East side of Lancaster,S.C. I am compiling data on ALL the descendents of Martha and Richard for a Cousart Family tree book that I hope to have ready by late 2003.-----Sincerely yours,Wilma M.(COWSAR)Brown --P.S. WILL BE VERY ANXIOUS TO HEAR FROM YOU.,I am posting this letter on GenForum so if you will also post your e-mail(and send the email to me too
me then we might "find" more info on Robert Cousart and his Dad Nathaniel Cousart.
