Thanks for the reply. I also descend through Colbert, through his son John Wesley. Which of William D. Carr's sons did your mother descend through? I wouldn't mind filling out my collateral lines here. We are double cousins ? I descend from David Carr as well, Margaret Carr, who would be William's sister, married John Wesley Cowley.
