John Cowley married Sarah Young Jan 16, 1800 in Montgomery County, Md. He migrated to Kentucky. Among their ten children was Matthew E. Cowley, born in 1823. Matthew married Mary Pate, date unknown. I have their children listed as:
Sarah Ann, birth unknown
Martha Elizabeth , born 1850
James Henry, born 1848
Susan, unknown
