I am researching my Great Grandmother Isabella Cowley.
Her family moved to Salford/Bolton area .They had moved there from the Isle of Man.
Her Mother my g-great Gran was Sarah Cowley listed as a widow in the 1881 census.
She had a sister named Sarah Jane , a brother George E.,a brother Samuel and 2 half sisters named Marion and Hannah Wharmby. Sarah Jane and George were born on Isle of Man.
My g-gran was born in Broughton, Lancashire as well as Samuel.
Any information would be appreciated.
