2 1/2 years later, did you mean the 1790 census? Henry Cowley in that census did not have a male child which would have fit the presumed age of my ancestor John Cowley, who was born abt. 1780 in Montgomery County. A Thomas Cowley in the same census did have a male child in the age group.
