Sorry. I am not familiar with all the variants so don't really know. So many times our ancestors had their names mispelled and changed by both immigration upon entering America and by census takers and the fact that some of our people could not read and write. There are so many different spellings of the same surname but I am only familiar with a few of the variants on the COWLEY surname.
