Im doing research on my familys line and from what I have come up with I think Robert Cowley born about 1750, who I think was in the revolutionary war but dont have any real proof yet, is the grandfather of my great great great grandfather francis marion cowley. They were all from chester s carolina and migrated to monroe co mississippi. I think Thomas is tied in either through Robert cowley (B.1750) as one of his sons was named thomas (B.1791) or through Roberts son named Robert (B. 1785) who possible had a son named thomas.. Im looking for more info on Robert (B 1750) and francis marion cowley .
