I have a Thomas in my history but I don't think he is the one you are looking for. In my research of the COWLEY surname, a Thomas Albert COWLEY b. abt 1834 in Alabama is the son of James Henry COWLEY b. abt 1804 in Lincoln County Kentucky. James married a Susannah Russell in Tuscaloosa Alabama. His children were Thomas Albert Cowley, John Henry Cowley, Emily H.COWLEY, and Margaret L.COWLEY
Thomas Albert Cowley b. abt 1846 in ALA, married Sebelle Sample in Desoto Parish La. Their children were Buford, John, Versa, Willie, Foncie and Louis all born in LA.
John Henry Cowley b. 1834 in Ala. married Sarah Saunders in Desoto Parish La
Sorry I can't help on Alice Maude Cowley, daughter of Thomas Cowley but I will keep her in mind when I am ancestor searching. I am so glad to see Cowley researchers at this surname site.
