Cowles married 21 Nov 1858 Mary Jane Walrod at Portland, Dodge, WI. She was born 16 Apr 1833 Vernon, Oneida, NY dtr of George Walrod & Eva Keller. John T. Cowles brothers were Morris Cowles of Spring Valley, Fillmore, MN & Brainard of Plainview, Wabasha, MN & Daniel B. of Elgin, Wabasha, MN.
I am a grgrandaughter of John T. Cowles
