These gentlemen are descendants of Richard Cowles who bought land on June 3 1614 The pilgrims landed in 1620.
If you are a descendant of this family you now have an answer to those proud people that tell you My People came over on the Mayflower, your ancestors were al ready here.
If you want a good history of this branch in clouding these men. the only published copy of the Descendants of John Cowles, is in the Liberty at the university of Western Kentucky, at Bowling Green, KY.
I have a copy of most of this book.
the genealogy of the Cowles family in America Vol II has information on Calvin Duvall, He was th publisher of this book. but the research was done by on of the Ancestors of John Cowles on KY.
