I'm a descendant of Horce W. Cole-1891-1918. He was son of William M. Cole 1864-1930 m. Helena Davis 1864-1943.William was son of Mitchell B. Cole a wagon maker.
The family name before that was Cowles. There was a John suposedly of Dutch descent about 1740-1750 and a son William??? then Mitchell B. Cole. They lived in Verbank, The Clove and MooresMill area. Mitchell had a big family. some were on county board etc. Notes are sketchy no data near computer.
