The only Selah Cowles I can find in my records was born in Kensington, CT in 1755.
He was the son of Daniel b.14 Dec 1717.
m. 2 Feb 1744 Martha Powell d. 27 Apr 1798.

Daniel was the son of Caleb b. 20 Jun 1682
Farmington. m. 8 Aug 1710 Abigail Woodford
d. 15 Nov 1725.

Caleb was son of Samuel b. 1639 Hartford.
m.1660 Abigail Stanley d.1691 Farmington

Samuel was son of John b.1598 Gloucestershire, Eng. Came to America c.1634
m.1638 Hannah Varnham d.11 Sep 1675 Hatfield, MA
