I guess the first thing to do is find out your grandfathers name and possible your gg grandfater. My mother was a Cowles and I found her G grandfater in the Genealogy of The Cowles Families In America. They also had his children and I saw my grandfathers name and his brothers and sisters, and I traced all away back to John Cowles. Back then they had alot of children
so this family of Cowles is quite large. The infomation I have is from about the 1600-late 1800's, so if you could get me one of the grandparents born between these dates I might beable to help. PJ
