Type in vincent Cowles and you will find information. Our family has been researched by several cousins around the country. You need to get hold of "The Cowles Family in America", published in 1929 by Colonel Calvin Duvall Cowles. You can trace the family from Virginia to Kentucky with this 2 volumn set.
