From serious researchers with seven years of info - I have used the Duvall book and will purchase my own copy soon - my wife Kate is a western MA Cowles GG-daughter. I would like to develop an informal association and collect new info that would spin off of the Duvall book and find all of the Cowles from 1929 to date. A Cowles wife - Susan Rising of Southwick (1821-1904) is a part of a "Rising" association managed by a 78 year old amature geneologist who is about to publish a four volume work containing 5000+ records.
Lets use this forum to enlist interest and go forward. With six to ten volunteers to collate data, the task would not be to daunting. Any one interested - email
