Yes, it would be very interesting. I haven't done much research, but have a neice (Beverly) who apparently has done quite a bit. Our lineage looks something like this:
John, 1700 - Thomas, 1730 - Henry, 1750 - Vincent, 1792 - James, 1828 - Jesse, 1874 -
Aubrey, 1901 - and myself, James, 1941. My son, James Scott, carriers on and he has three sons (my grandsons) that will continue the lineage. I also know our lineage takes us back to the colonies and the 1600s. Many people took the "Cole" name and did what they wanted with it. That makes it difficult to track. Well, I've got a John in there, so who knows? We may be related! Jim
