We think she maybe the daugher of Nancy Coughborne in the 1850 census Panola Co., Ms. Dist 13 family 459-459
1850 Nancy Coughborne age 55 f w born NC
Rebecca Coughborne 20 f w born Tn
George " 28 m w born Tn
Fipton should be Tipton 15 m w born Tn
or at least we think this is probably the mother of Zenabaer and Zenabaer is married in her own household
Panola Co., Ms. Dist 13 pg 210 family 26-26
Thomas Appleton m w 29 farmer born Tn
Cinenabya " f w 23 Tn Zenabaer
Thomas " m w 2 Ms
In 1853 State census listed as Nancy Cowhorn and Thomas Appleton is listed on pg 2 next to each other.

A possible 1860 census for Nancy
She maybe the Nancy Cochran liste in the household of
Panola Co., Ms. Peach Creek pg 256 family 774-774
R. H. Abbott 32 m w house carpenter born Indianna
R. E. " 27 f w Tn
C. R. " 4 m w Tn
Walter " 1 m w Ms
Nancy Cochran 70 f w NC
assuming that R. E. is Rebecca Coughborne from 1850 census.
This is a very hard bunch of people to track down. Nothing proven but live in same area and we know Zenabaer had a brother named Tipton called Tip Cowhorn. Any ideas appreciated simmons1@panola.com Peach Creek Comm is west of Sardis, Ms.
1850 census Panola Co., Ms. Central Academy family 255-255
Thomas Appleton 33 m w farmer 2000-2225 born Tn
Zane " 30 f w NC
William " 5 m w Ms
Nancy W. " 3 f w Ms
