They had children, Thomas: Araminta Martha: John A.: Nancy A.: Ally May: and Sarah.
Johns parents were David Cowan/Cowen born 1812 and Sarah L. Adams Hunter. After the death of David she married. William I. Pruett.
1910 and 1910 John resided Lauderdale Co. AL.
1910 Lauderdale Co. AL. John A. Johnnie) above resided with
Thomas A. Shepard and wife Mary.
1910 Lauderdale Co. Al. and 1920 Blount Co. AL. Sarah above resided with her grandmother and step grandfather
William I. Pruett and Sarah L.
