Shirley,

I have two gentlemen that could possibly be brothers, William (O?)abt 1830 and George W. Cowen abt 1828. These two moved along with each other; I found them together in Illinois in 1860 and they eventually settled in the same county in Missouri by 1870. They both have children that were born in Indiana between 1851 and 1856. I can't seem to locate them in 1850. Both of these men and their wives are reported in the census to have born in OH. There is unsubstantiated information that William was born in "Leermont, Ohio".

Looking for location of these people in 1850. Possibly OH or IN. Does anything here fit in with your people?
