Hi Sarah,
I am also doing research on a Cyril Cowell. I don't know if they are the same people but I will tell you what I have so far. I have a Cyril, Sydney, Bert and Horace Cowell all brothers but don't know who their parents are yet. But the Cyril I have also have two sons (don't know if their is any more) Barry (who lives in England) and Terry (who lives in Australia). I don't know when they where born Horace (my partners g grandfather was born 21/10/1907 Camberwell London Surrey. That we got from army records with a next of kin as Evlyn Cowell.I don't know if any of this helps.
