Thanks Charlotte, but now I am confused again. I was led to believe that Margaret Amanda died in 1853 & I presumed she was married to George Jefferson Cowart up until that time. Since you say he was married to Sally by 1850 then I am once again missing something. Can you shed any further light on this?
