Hi Roger, George Washington Cowart is the son of James Washington Cowart and Rena Jane Roden he was born 10 Feb 1887 in Dekalb Count Alabama. James Washington was the son of James Edward Cowart and Mary Jane Jarvis. James Edward was the oldest son of Elihu Cowart and Charlotte Bird. George Washington married Ruby McIssick? (this may not be spelled right)(second wife) their children were Luby Clifford Cowart, James Marion Cowart, Kennedy who died as a child in 1910 or 1912, Emory Cowart and Amos who was born about 1910 and died about 1993 or 4
