1863 - John Edward Cowart married Effie L. Herrington on 4th of July in Franklin Co.MS
My great-grandmother was Effie Lavonia Harrington who by 1871 was married to Edward W. Wroten and had her first child. I'm wondering if this is the same Effie L. Harrington, she would have just turned 15 when she married John E Cowart. John E. Cowart lived until 1917 so he was still alive when she married Edward W. Wroten. Edward W. Wroten's mother was Delila C. Coward who died in Franklin Co. MS. Coincidence?
