I think your Johnathan Cowart is the s/o Stephen
Cowart b. ca. 1788 d. ca. 1887 and Amelia Texas
Rogers. Stephen was the s/o James Coward b. bef.
1755 in Dorsetshire, England he m. _?_ Weaver d.
abt 1815. He lived in Rutherford Co. N.C. Aug.
1787. I do not know the who the father of James
Coward was, I don't think he came to the U.S. I
