My Great Grandfather and Mother were Bryant Spears and Annie Cowart. I know this from oral family history. I do not know who Annie Cowart father was nor Bryant Spears father. Bryant Born GA. and Annie born in Al.
My Grandmothers name was Kiziah Spears and my sisters name
was Kizzie (Kiziah). This name has been in my family for
some time. I read on the COWART Gen Forum the there was a
Ephraim possible brother of Newham Cowart with a daug
Named Kiziah Cowart. This has been my brick wall for a
20 years. Can anybody give me a good lead on Ephraim
Cowart? Kizaih is an odd name, maybe it will help.
I did an DNA test and I found that I am about 15%
American Indian and I have never heard it mentioned
by any of my family on any side. Does the Cowarts have
any Indian blood that anyone knows of?
