Thanks for the update. Needham M Coward Jr was my 4th great grandfather. I cleaned his cemetery out a year ago. Several people have documented that Needham M Coward Jr was the son of Needham M Coward Sr, revolutionary war soldier. My father recently was able to document his lineage to Needham M Coward Jr and qualified as a "Son of the Revolutionary War". One of the best documentors of Needham is Mavis Coward Young in Smithdale, MS. She helped my dad get is documentation together. If you would like to talk with her I can get her number. I know my dad talks to her occasionally when he goes over to the old Coward Place he has in Franklin Co. MS. My dad probably has the documentation linking Needham M Coward, Jr. to the Sr. I will ask him next time I see him. I would love to compare any notes you may have.
