I am looking for the lineage of one William H. (?Hutson?) Cowart, b. abt. 1810-1835 maybe in SC or Miss. or somewhere else, d. after 1880 in DeWitt Co., TX. Wm. H. married between 1822 and 1837 to a Cathernine Parker, b. Miss between 1815 and 1838, d. infor unknown. Their daughter is my gg grandmother, Bettie Jane Cowart, b. 20/4/1855 in Miss., d. 30/4/1936 in Abilene, Taylor Co., TX. Bettie Jane Coward(t) m. 1871 in Houston, Travis Co., TX to Rowan Spicer, Jr., b. 1852 in GA, d. 20/10/1913 in Abilene, Taylor Co., TX. Does anyone out there know of this family? I would so appreciate any lead. Thanks in advance...Phil
