I have a Timothy Page (b Jul 24 1763, d. Oct 31, 1840)
who married a MARY COWARD on Dec 3, 1786.
From timothy's rev war pension file (R7869) it states that Mary (Page) Coward was a cousin of Enoch Coward. It also states that Enoch's brother was Captain Joseph Coward.
It also stated that Timothy's father and Enoch's father both owned land adjacent to each other in Monmouth County.
I know that Timothy Page's father was Joseph Page of Upper Freehold Twp, Monmouth Co, NJ (from deed records). And also from deed records i have found several refernces to a John Coward of Upper Freehold Twp in connection with Joseph Page's land.
I also found somewhere (cant find source now) that states that Mary Cowards father was a Thomas Coward.
Any ideas on this coward family or the Page family?
