It sounds like your wife doesn't have her genealogical material on the computer, so there wouldn't be any use in my sending a GEDCOM file over the internet. I would like copies of what she has. I can send what I have via snail-mail if you send me your address. My email address is: praxis@alltel.net Maybe when she sees some of the other family lines it will spark her interest again. The Littleport Society in Ely, England has more material on this family--possibly much more. They were in some transition when I contacted them and couldn't give much info then. They wouldn't let me hire them to look some things up, but they wanted me to join as an overseas member which would've been quite expensive. Anyway, they had more info on the BATES family line. --James Hutchinson
