Someone has incorrectly read the handwriting on a census. The Coward you are looking for is not "J" but "I", as in Isaiah Coward whose wife was Anna Cockfield. Please send me, preferrably by regular mail, your latest data on the Coward line in which you are interested including the line of descent from it to yourself. I should be able to add something to it and will if I can.
