I am searching for my Coward family in Marion Co., SC.(early census records show 1790-1840). Sarah, d/o Wilson married Bryant Lane, son of Alexander Lane and daughter Catherine married Jesse Wesley Bailey, believed to be the son of Jonas Bailey of same. Catherine moved with her husband and children to Florida about 1850 where she died in about 1852. Jesse Wesley Bailey married Tellitha Ann Ayers Cutts, also of South Carolina and had three more sons. He lived and died in Calhoun Co., Florida.
Would appreciate any help on early Cowards and Baileys of Marion Co., SC. Would be happy to share information.
