Jesse Cowan/May (Mae) Nichols-Crawford Co AR 1937

I'm looking for any ancestors that I may still have in AR or who have moved from there elsewhere. My descendants are Remy (Remey) and Nichols. GGfather Will J. Nichols and his wife Elizabeth Nichols from 1900 census.

RE: Jesse Cowan AND MAY (MAE) NICHOLS b 1910:
Grandfather W.J. Nichols who was a blacksmith in Mulberrytown Crawford County/Grandmother Emma M. Remy Nichols - married 1/26/1900. They had six children by 1920 census. Alta 18, William Emmett 16 (my father), Mae or May 9, Imagene 7, Will R. 4 and James R. 5 months. They lived at 1921 Bridge or Ridge Street in Maxey Township, Mulberrytown, AR.

I believe that the Remy Masonic Lodge in Mulberry, AR is named after my GGgrandfather William Joseph Remy father of Suddeth David Remy.

My descendants also include Suddeth David Remy who was married to Sohpronia Heard (my great grandparents - Emma Remy's parents).

I believe that one of my descendants was a postmaster in Mulberry and that he has a daughter named Claudia - not sure if Nichols or Remy.

My father William Emmett died in April 13, 1949 in Michigan from Tuberculosis. His DOB was 1/19/1904.

My AUNTS:

May Nichols could have been married to either Ray Kelley in 1934-Saline County; John Parker-Conway County 1937; Jesse Cowan-Crawford County 1937. Those are the counties where the licenses were applied for.

I have an Alta Nichols married to C.T. Williams sometime in 1936 - license applied for on Carroll County.

I have Imagene Nichols married to Leamon Shaw sometime in 1935 with license applied for in Lonoke County.
