I found a John W. Covington who was born about November 1850 in Richmond County, North Carolina and died between 1900-1910 in Scotland County, North Carolina. I find that he married a Sarah about 1874 in Richmond County, North Carolina. I only know that Sarah was born about 1853. Their known children were: Charles R., Mary F., Hattie, Infant, Infant, Sarah, Eliza, John Lynn, Duncon O., and Eston P.
