Wesley Lovelace Covil was the son of Alexander Covil (1829-1862) Alexander was the son of Jesse Covil 1803-1864. Alexander died in VA in October of 1862. He was a private in the 22 South Carolina Infantry and appears to ahve either died on battle or shortly there after. I am still investigating this part. When I get additional info, I'll update this post.

My great grandmother was Ella Covil Ravan, I am Robert Fred Ravan's grandson and Dick Ravan's son.
