Lynda, I don't know if I can help, I don't remember seeing the name David, but my line was in Jackson in 1866, before going into Lawrence Co. There was only one other Covey line in the Jackson Co., area during this period. I don't have the info in front of me at the present. But will double check and get back as soon as possible. Do you have any other names?? My people was Levin Green W. Covey. The other family was Levin H.
