It appears that Covey Hill is named for Samuel Covey, Jr.(son of Samuel Covey and Susanna Yearns), who moved to Quebec from Alburgh, VT with his wife, Pamela Burr. According to Sellar's "History of Huntingdon County, Quebec, ..." Samuel Jr first moved to the Sweet settlement in Hemmingford, and then in 1806, he moved to the Lot 33 given to him by his father, next to O'Neil on Lot 32, who had first settled there in 1800. This area is now known as "Covey Hill", even though O'Neil was the first settler!
