Jeremiah Covey was born 1844, he wouldn't have been old enough to produce sons for the Civil War, and as far as I can tell, he never fought in it either. I know Jeremiah's father was in War of 1812, he joined from somewhere here in KY, but I don't know where (yet); my Daniel was born 1849, so he wouldn't have been old enough either; William Covey who married Phoebe Willoughby, Mt Sterling, died before Civil War began, and his sons were just small tots when the War started, so that eliminates them too.
