I sure garbled that one up, didn't I? In fact, George and Mary are offspring of Simon, and Simon was a son of Hiram, grandson of Hope. Another reference is "Ancestors and Descendants of Walter Covey . . . " by Mary Lancaster Quist, although my family progenitor, Daniel Covey, elder son of Hope, is not mentioned.
Again, my apologies for such a mishmash of mis-info.
