My Nixon Covey was born in 1791 and died in 1879 and married a Susan Willoughby. He was a minister. He had several sons and one of them was James Hardin Nixon Covey born 27 August 1837. It is possible that your Nixon was a son of one of the sons. Nixon was in Montgomery County at one time per census records.
