re:James Covey in Lahave Nova Scotia: He is the son of Charles Covey who arrived Halifax June 1749 on the frigate Canning with two males? One of these was James Covey who inherited all his fathers property in a will dated Jan. 1 1750. There is no mention in the will of a second child. This James Covey marries Elizabeth Robart(Apr 17, 1763) issue John, Charles,and Sally. Later takes up with one Margaret Richardson issue James, Helena, Christina, William, and John. The latter James and William moved to Hackets Cove.
