In legal papers drawn in the 1830s, Walter Covey of Willets, NY names Hannah as his sister and claims that he fought in the Rev War - Dutchess Co. Vol. Militia - with her husband Albert A. Carley. I'm beginning to think that Hannah was her middle name - she had a daughter Malissa. What happened to the eldest daughter of James Hope, Jr, Martha and the next daughter Malissa?
