Thank all the folks that helped with the parent question. My William came from Dunsfold Surrey England, His father, James Covey born Hascombe, Surrey, was christened James COVER. He changed his name to Covey, (for some unknown reason) when he married a Jane Wadey, The Cover family goes back to William Cover, Thursley, Surrey,1648.
