Hi Gail. No I don't have much from Tennessee at all..just who was born where, married whom, where they went, etc. Which two lines are you working on? I descend from William Henry's younger brother, Johnson Marshall (John) Covey. I have Samuel Covey's pension papers and some information about him. I know he was from Dutchess CO, NY and get lost in the maze of Coveys ca 1639-40 Massachusetts down to Samuel, so it's said. My great joy is discovering the Coveys' oral traditions, who our Texans are, where they went and especially fitting our family into Texas history where it belongs. Have you picked up more on the James I line on down? Do you get Covey Cousins newsletter?

I have a lot on William H. Covey's family and some of the genealogical stuff that Elmer collected and oral traditions about William H. recorded by the Donald Covey Naylor in Georgia. Do you have it?

Sherry
