Good morning
I am interested in the "other" Sam Covey, who fought for the Americans. Pam and I have been in touch and she believes we come from 2 different lines of Covey's. My great grandfather Samuel married Hester Donaldson in Ontario. His father was also Samuel ,born in Lower Canada. I believe this Sam to be married 2 times, the first marriage probably in Lower Canada which produced 4 children (Lucie or Lane?, M_ _annon?, Susana and Samuel). He moved to Upper Canada (Lansdowne Township) between 1851 and 1861 and married a 20 year old named Sally Patterson. They had a daughter Sally in 1858.
If you can provide any information, please email me at somerv@cadvision.com
Look forward to hearing from you
Gail Covey Somerville
