Covey of 2995 We're talking about the 1800s. I have a William Covey that was on the 1850 Obion CO., Tn. census, being born in SC. NOthing else on the person. Then there are several Coveys in SC but alot of the names are spelled Couey. Also, there was a Joseph Covey born in the late 1700s in the New England area that had people that supposely went into SC.
