Ira Dixon "Dick" Covey married Alberta Murphree who was b. 13 Oct 1888, d. 24 Aug 1982 Shelbyville, Bedford Co., TN. Alberta is bur. in the Hazel Cem., Bell Buckle, Bedford Co., TN. Dick suposedly d. bef. Dec 1973 and is bur. in Dallas, TX. They lived in Mansfield and Ft. Worth, TX. Alberta apparently moved to TN to live with her sisters after her husband died in TX. There are no children that I'm aware of.

I have been unable to find anything on Dick. He's not in the S.S. Death Index. I checked the Dec 1973 Dallas newspapers for an obit but no luck. Any help will be appreciated!
