Hi Wes,
Starting with Issac Covey and Martha Porter (his second wife I believe)who were my second great grandparents, my line is from Iowa/Nebraska with a Missouri or two thrown in. I know that Isaac was born in Ohio, and that he and Martha were married in Illinois. As far as I know only one of their children had been born in Illinois before they moved on to Iowa were the rest were born. My grandfather was the only one I'm aware of that spent any significant time here and even he spent his last years in Colorado. I'm always searching for any signs of Illinois Coveys and that's why the Couey spelling caught my eye. Would you happen to have any information on an Ebenezer Covey who may have been related somehow to the Cady family in Cook County, Illinois? I believe he's buried here in the Cady Family Cemetary. Thanks so much.
