Dear Leslie,
My grandmother was Christina Pitcairn (Coventry) Miller (1861-1947). She was born in Scotland, and Kinross cropped up in the recounting of family lore when I was a Kid. Her father was John Coventry who married Christina Foulis. He died in 1900, and she in 1913 in a town outside Chicago. His father was also John Coventry who married Margaret Christie (no dates).
Grandma’s siblings were John, Hutton, William, Isabel, and Barbara. The family came here in the early 1880s. Does any of this call for speculation?
